SEVEN MOODS photographs
In the UNEXPECTED ALLIES exhibition

Artist Statement
Photography has long served as a tool for documentation—a frame frozen in time. From the earliest heliographs to today’s smartphone selfies, it captures the fleeting, the ordinary, and the extraordinary. In this series, I explore photography not just as a means of recording events, but as a way of capturing something more elusive: mood.
"Seven Moods" is a study of emotional resonance—seven images, each embodying a
distinct human feelings: Mood Indigo, Labyrinthian, Vigor, Serendipity, Placid, Suspense, and Nostalgia.
These photographs are not confined by setting, subject, or visual continuity. Instead, they are connected by something more intangible—the universality of emotional experience. The images stand alone, yet speak to one another through the shared language of feeling. They invite the viewer to reflect, to connect, and perhaps even to catch a fleeting sense of the mood captured—before it slips away, as moods so often do.
